The New Zealand Game Developers Association has announced the speaker lineup for New Zealand’s premier game development conference at https://nzgdc17.sched.com/
The New Zealand Game Developers Conference (NZGDC) is an annual professional game development conference for primarily a New Zealand audience. It focuses on practical and inspirational content, and provides networking opportunities with international guests.
This year ‘s theme Luck By Design looks at success as a result of careful planning and focused work, with a bit of luck sprinkled on top.
“We have an amazing speaker lineup at NZGDC this year, with one day dedicated to workshops and two days of inspirational talks and panels. We have international guests travelling from as far as San Francisco and Montreal to attend,” says NZGDC Chairperson Niamh Fitzgerald. “The NZGDC17 Committee has worked incredibly hard to secure the best speakers, who will share practical takeaways that game developers can apply to their own careers. If you’re making games, you should be at NZGDC17!”
NZGDC17 will take place on the 6th–8th of September at Auckland’s AUT University.
The conference is supported by many New Zealand organisations including Creative New Zealand, NZ On Air and Weta Workshop, as well as international games companies such as Epic (Unreal Engine) and Unity.
