Little & BraveTHE BRIEF:
The story behind the Kiwi Mum and Dad responsible for Little & Brave eco-nappies all began with a full wheelie bin. A wheelie bin full with disposable nappies. Over 1 million disposable nappies end up in Kiwi landfills every day and they didn’t want to be adding to this statistic. After deciding cloth nappies didn’t suit their family, they went in search of alternative environmentally friendly options. However, there was nothing on the market in NZ. So they set out to change Aotearoa for the better. One poo at a time. Amongst many other things, they needed a graphic design company to bring their new business venture to life.

THE STUDIO RESPONSE:
Revolutionising an industry which major players have held market dominance over for years is no mean feat. The eco-friendly bunnies at White Rabbit were up to the challenge though. The goal behind the website design for Little & Brave was twofold: to sell their compostable nappies, and to educate Kiwi families on a greener alternative. We worked collaboratively with them to deliver a clean, modern design aesthetic with an element of playfulness to it. But most importantly a site that is so user-friendly even sleep-deprived parents with minimal time on their hands can place an order with ease.We kept the eco vibes going with recyclable and compostable business cards and packaging too. Our team sourced paper stocks with the most superior environmental credentials. These were then printed these using soy/vegetable-based inks to avoid any chemicals during the process. The packaging design for Little & Brave’s eco-wipes features a simple pattern of free-flowing organic shapes against a clean white background to ensure a desirable brand presence on shelves.
Their eCommerce website design, business cards and packaging design all work cohesively to reflect the company’s environmentally friendly ideologies. The striking white backgrounds combined with custom patterns, illustrations and an appealing, fresh colour palette bring this brand to life and ensure that it stands out from its big competitors. With their recent launch into supermarkets, the branding will now have an even more significant role to play.
