If you have new or recent work that you would like to share in Fresh from the Field email  nicole@designassembly.org.nz  for details.

The Brief:
As part of their continued commitment to becoming a truly purpose-driven organisation, NZC saw an opportunity to utilise their 2019 Annual Report to tell the story of their continued commitment to breaking down the traditional barriers to participation of the game in New Zealand.

The Design Response:
We worked with NZC to develop a strategic narrative that clearly linked back to their mission of ‘Together Pushing Boundaries’. Our strategic approach was to flip the narrative by highlighting the boundaries NZC has been breaking over the past year around culture, gender, diversity, partnership and potential. This enabled NZC to highlight their strategic intent through clear deeds and actions, not just words.
Our creative approach was based on a powerful typographic execution that felt like it was literally pushing out of the boundaries of the page, utilising the printed format to its greatest potential. The result is a bold, impactful report that clearly communicates and hero’s the boundaries NZC continues to break, now and into the future.
