June 26 @ 8:00 am - July 10 @ 5:00 pm
What is the legacy we leave to our descendants? TUKU IHO is a wero, a challenge, referencing the passing of knowledge from generation to generation.
This exhibition weaves together physical and digital works from across our hapori (faculty) — students, alumni and staff together. This work asks you to connect with seen and unseen realms, with past, present and future.
TUKU IHO is a call to action for all designers and architects. During Matariki, we must take responsibility, and respond to the urgent crises of our world, by reimagining radical futures where human and more than human communities are thriving. AKE AKE AKE!
Come along to the dawn karakia to open the exhibition, on Thursday the 27th of June at 7.30am. The exhibition will be open until Wednesday the 10th of July, when it will close with a Hākari (party).
