Friends of the Sea

6 years ago by

Friends of the Sea is just that… a collective of talented creatives who share a love for the ocean. The idea formed in 2017 when artist Greg Straight and wife Hannah (Duett Design) were looking for a way to combine Greg’s creativity and his love of surfing and the ocean. Bring on-board a few of NZ’s top ocean photographers and some serious illustration talent and we bring to you a carefully curated collection of powerful images and stunning artworks, by NZ creatives – all with a deep connection to the ocean.
As we love the ocean, we’re also passionate about keeping it clean and protecting its wildlife. Friends of the Sea is proud to support Sustainable Coastlines by donating a percentage from each sale to help them with their valuable work improving the water quality of NZ’s much loved shores.

Our first Exhibition – Next Thursday, all welcome!

Dear Friends,
You’re invited to a special exhibition by the Friends of the Sea collective.
Join us for the OPENING NIGHT, 22nd November to view stunning photography and artwork from Craig ‘CPL’ Levers, Reuben James, Greg Straight, Al Wrath and Ant Green.
20% of profits will go to Sustainable Coastlines in support of their valuable work improving the water quality on NZ’s much loved shores.
