Fresh From The Field — Emma Lewisham website By Studio Almond

4 years ago by

Emma Lewisham worked with Studio Almond to create an innovative design-led web experience that complemented the brands values of becoming the world’s first carbon positive beauty brand. A minimal and sophisticated approach helps to focus on the products and showcase the simple yet elegant design of the brand. Unique designs and layouts work together to create a considered and customer-focused journey.

The Brief:
Redesign and development of the Emma Lewisham website on Shopify to showcase an elegant, engaging and customer focused experience which will position the Emma Lewisham story, while inspiring with the brand’s purpose and products.

The Design Response:
Emma Lewisham has become the world’s first beauty brand to achieve carbon positive status, leading to the ultimate endorsement from iconic environmentalist and UN Messenger of Peace Dr Jane Goodall.
Leading up to the announcement, we worked with Emma and the team to overhaul their e-commerce store and elevate Emma’s brand to a minimal and sophisticated aesthetic in the digital space. Balancing unique design layouts with even better functionality for a considered customer journey.

Far from the standard Shopify experience, the new website features in-cart product recommendations based on what products are in your cart, unique horizontal page experience to capture the essence of learning about Emma’s story and sustainability practices, subtle elegant detailed animation and expansive product pages that talk to the extensive research, efficacy, ingredients and environmentally friendly packaging.
