Auckland Zinefest 2017

The Auckland Zinefest graces our winter again from this Saturday 8th of July until Friday 4th of August. There are a ton of activities and opportunities to participate:

Zinefest Market
Sunday 30th July, 12pm–5pm
North Atrium, Auckland Art Gallery

80+ zinemakers will be selling their fresh zines on everything from science, psychedelic journeys, feminism, mini comics, gender politics, colonialism, design, diaspora and other ideas worth sharing. There will also be talks and panels in the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium throughout the day.

Stall holders will be selling their zines individually so please remember to bring cash.

Auckland Zinefest Brunch
Saturday 8th July, 10am–12pm
final_final, 43c Dryden St., Auckland

Come and celebrate the start of the 2017 Zinefest at final_final. There’s a fantastic month of Zine-related events ahead, and to get you in the mood we will have:

The Zinefest Brunch will be a great place to catch up with fellow zinemakers and find out more about the upcoming Zinefest events. Drop in any time from 10am–12pm!

Closing Party
Friday 4th of August, from 9.30pm
Whammy Backroom

On the final night, we celebrate zines and boogie! The Best of the Fest Awards will be announced and radiant bands will make us dance: Creamy Mami, Brown Boy Magik, Satin Sheets, Baby Zionov
