You may have noticed this year’s theme of ‘Design &…’ across Design Assembly. From March’s Design & Women to April’s Design & Planet and now to as we move into the topic of Design & Business.
For May & June we’ve got a line up of Design & Business resources for & from our community.
We’ll have article resources on: a global industry pulse check and a framework for stronger decision-making when your studio is under pressure.
We’ll also be hosting the in-person Happier, Healthier Business Canvases and leadership lunches in AKL & WLG which will be workshopping how we can get better at professionalising the people side of operations and reviewing the 2024 Mentally Healthy early insights, discussing how we can create psychological safety in our industry and our workplaces, to the Happier Healthier Business Canvas. Our next Under the Hood webinar will be under the sub topic of ‘Design & AI’ and we’ll be hearing from Wrestler, Special, and Rush who will take us behind 3 different design projects and sharing how they use AI in their practice. ( Free to attend for our DA Friends )
And, for our freelance creative community we’ve got the Business of Design workshop in AKL and the next round of ‘The Freelancing Diaries’ with Hnry will be kicking off as we focus in on the topic of ‘Pros and Cons of operating as a sole trader vs company’ which includes a Free webinar where we will dive deeper into this topic with our Hnry expert and you can ask your burning q’s.
