NZ Designer AI Survey

4 weeks ago by

Design Assembly is taking a moment to pause and ask a simple question, where are designers in Aotearoa really at with AI?

We would like to hear your honest thougts on this one.

AI is showing up in different ways across creative practice. For some, it’s part of the daily workflow. For others, it’s something still being explored, questioned, or even avoided. Wherever you sit, your perspective matters.

We’re currently planning a design-focused get-together centred around AI, and we want to make sure it’s genuinely worth your time. That means shaping it around what you actually want to learn, discuss, and challenge, not what we assume you need.

The only way to do that is to ask you.

This short survey is designed to understand how designers across Aotearoa are engaging with AI right now. Your responses will directly influence the format, topics, and conversations we bring into the room.

It takes around 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.

As a small thank you, everyone who participates will go in the draw to win a ticket to an upcoming event this August (date to be confirmed).

If you’ve got thoughts, questions, or even a bit of uncertainty around AI, this is a good place to share them.

Please submit your responses by Friday 24 April, 5pm.

You can find the survey here.

It’ll be quiet on Design Assembly for the next few weeks while we scoff holiday treats, take a break from our screens and spend some time with our toes in the sand (weather permitting).
