Our client is a highly regarded Australian content agency, making moves into the New Zealand market, already with a suite of high profile clients. They are looking for a savvy Senior Content Specialist to support the team over a busy period, on a 3 month contract with potential to extend.

As a Content Specialist, you will be required to research and define target audiences, ideate digital and written storytelling for clients, manage the content creation, production and publishing process, and monitor consumer and content metrics. You will build positive and productive client relationships to ensure all content requirements are met. Reporting to the GM, and working with the Head of Client Partnerships, Content Strategists and Producers, you will be involved in content creation from the initial brief, ideation, response to brief, presentation creation, content execution and optimisation, and several stages of client approval.

A key responsibility for this role is writing, commissioning, editing and overseeing the creation of digital content for the agency’s brand partners. You will liaise with freelance content creators and client contacts to ensure exceptional content is delivered against every brief. You will dedicate a portion of time to developing concepts, researching and writing for digital article formats. You will develop shortlists of ideas to present to clients, conduct interviews and draw on supporting materials to create effective article and longer-form content for owned client channels like websites, email newsletters, ebooks, apps and more.

Similarly, you will work closely with the agency’s video team to inform and guide content ideas that includes video, photography and social media formats.

Along with the Digital and Social Editor and Producer, you will design and manage the creation of high-performing content for client social media profiles like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and optimise this content at times.
