Are you an intermediate Digital Designer with proven experience with social media assets and EDM campaigns looking to join a world class advertising agency?

About the Role:

The Digital Designer’s role revolves around the need to design and deliver first class digital creative and assets to meet client briefs. The scope of this position is to produce interactive digital outputs that span social, banners, EDMs and website, UI/UX design to support Creative campaigns, working wherever necessary with the content production and development teams.

In most cases, you will work in conjunction with an Art Director and/or Designer in the preparation of work to achieve the best possible creative output.

You will work with minimum supervision with your daily workflow controlled and supervised by the Account Management Team. From a Senior Leadership Team perspective, the Production Manager will oversee the Studio team, resourcing and be a point of escalation for all parties.

Contacts:

This role forms part of the Studio Team and reports to the Production Manager who will schedule your workload. In addition, your other internal contacts will be Art Directors, Copywriters, and the Account Service team, of whom you will be expected to develop strong working relationship with. There may be times when you will be required to work with external parties, such as content creators, developers, and freelance digital designers.

Responsibilities:

Day to Day production of digital assets:

Creation of digital advertising elements for clients, from concepts through to final outputs. This could include:

  • Social content – statics or interactive pieces (e.g., Canvas, Instant Experience etc.)
  • Digital Ads – Static, Animated GIFs and HTML5 – Design, build and dispatch of edm – Wireframe and Design. Work with developer during template development process.
  • Build out edms with content based upon the built templates, typically using Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, but may extend to other platforms
  • Websites, including landing pages, microsites, and website – UI/UX design for a range of destinations from simple one-page competition entry pages to large corporate websites and/or apps. Use of CMS to build page/content within websites
  • Collaborate with Creative Teams to support the ideation of digital materials to support the client brief.
  • Apply best practice UX and UI in all digital outputs
  • Understand where your work fits within the overall CX
  • Support the development of the CX, UX and UI offering for the company
  • Keep up to date with trends in the digital landscape and technology driven creative opportunities and look for ways to use them
  • Stay up to date with digital tools, for example Adobe suite, Sketch etc.
  • Help foster an atmosphere for creative excellence
  • Deliver work of high quality, to deadline

 

In addition to the day-to-day aspects of the role, any of the following skills and experience would be a great addition:

  • Photography and Video production, including capture and editing
  • Animation / Motion Graphics
  • Light retouching/grading as required
  • Development of content in other digital platforms not expressly identified above
  • Be part of the team leading digital literacy and ideation across the business
