This premium, high-end fashion retailer is looking for an experienced Content Creator / E-Commerce Marketing Co-ordinator to join their team. They are seeking a motivated and creative designer with the added e-commerce and digital marketing skills to join their team based in their Grey Lynn, Auckland head office. This is a true hybrid design and marketing role that will tap into all your skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in the fashion industry by working with two iconic New Zealand designer brands, alongside a sophisticated edit of international labels.

The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in fashion and design.

You will be well organised and a confident verbal and written communicator, with a high level of computer competency. Experience with Adobe CC is essential.

The key responsibility is assisting the E-Commerce and Marketing Manager with the maintenance of the online store and digital marketing content.

Tasks include:

Advertising – Internal

  • Management of social media – creating, sourcing and developing content (Instagram/Facebook) – Posts, Reels, TikTok, Stories, etc
  • Preplanning content and copy for the week in-line with EDM schedule (Planoly)
  • Creating and organising window vinyl’s for retail
  • Campaign collateral (look books, posters, billboards, etc.)
  • In-store collateral – posters, shelf-talkers, runway videos, etc

 

Graphic Design

  • Artwork for retail windows: mock-ups, vinyl’s, menu boards
  • Researching and negotiating rates
  • Creating graphic collaterals – store signage, look books, campaign posters, postcards, billboards, invites, graphic files for printers, etc
  • Creating and innovating eye-catching material for sales periods
  • Designing print and online advertising – magazine, publications and social media templates

 

Media Relations

  • Press releases/copy writing – excellent written communication skills required
  • Day to day media requests – samples, images, etc
  • Media samples are tracked, and press coverage documented – monthly editorial reports
  • Wardrobe requests – TV, stylists, musicians, artists, etc
  • Pitching/securing coverage – align with any internal promotions
  • Weekly/fortnightly delivery updates to current media list (update regularly) – Dropbox folders, assets, look books, press releases, etc
  • Customer relations database is regularly updated – online, media and key customers
  • Christmas gifting

 

Advertising – External

  • PPC (Pay Per Click) ads – Facebook, Instagram, Google
  • Researching and negotiating rates
  • Creating artwork and organising placements

 

Advertising – Klaviyo, Google Ads, Meta Ads (Instagram and Facebook)

  • Managing ad budget
  • Coming up with new campaigns inline with recent promotions
  • Identifying and segmenting audience with the use of Klaviyo to maximise conversion
  • Google ranking strategies (SEO), precision of copy, key products, google review, etc
  • Creating, sourcing, updating and developing campaigns – Ads for Facebook, Instagram, Google
  • Researching and testing ad strategies – Lead generation, targeting specific audience groups, creative, etc
  • Analytics – A/B testing, monthly performance analysis
