Introducing Daylight
Daylight is an independent creative and technology studio based in Auckland, NZ. Our vision is to be Aoteaora’s most innovative digital storyteller, and that vision demands passion and commitment from our team.

We want to deliver award-winning work for our partners, building gutsy brands, behaviour-changing digital products, and culturally-relevant content that resonates deeply with audiences.

Job description
As a senior designer at Daylight, you need to effectively combine creativity, craft, and functionality to produce beautiful design experiences across our digital products, as well as creative and content storytelling.

This role is for a senior designer with skills at the intersection of graphic and digital, with a strong focus on bringing craft into our digital products and experiences. You’ll be required to bring design systems and visual identities to life across websites, apps, brand partnerships, campaigns, and content products.

Digital obsessive: Within the studio, we work across a broad range of channels and formats, but always with a focus on digital storytelling at our core. Being across new formats, AI technologies, and ways of bringing design to life in digital environments is key.

Problem solver: You feel comfortable being uncomfortable, tackling problems, and working with the creative, production, and account service teams to seek out information and present solutions.

Team player: We have an incredibly collaborative team culture at Daylight, working together to tackle client briefs and challenges; having a strong team-focused mindset is key to our way of working.

Specific responsibilities:
