Are you an exceptionally talented, detail-oriented graphic designer? We’d love you to join our small but growing, close-knit team.

ABOUT US

We are a globally awarded design and advertising agency. Our team combines many years of experience working at the highest levels in Aotearoa for both local and international clients doing good in the world. We weave genuine te ao Māori values through our ideas and creativity while striving for creative excellence. The resulting mahi is powerful.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are putting the call out for Graphic Designers at all levels. We have two roles available, to join our team in central Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. You will be involved in all design work, from brand identities and collateral right through to creative campaigns. This requires solid design skills including experience designing logos, branding and large reports – we’re looking for a design superstar!

You embrace thinking differently and thrive on any creative challenge. You understand the role of an agency designer, the bigger picture, the briefs that require a speedy response, the mahi that needs longer for crafting. You love what you do and your determination to produce outstanding work stems from your true love and belief in your craft.

You are honest, real and open to collaboration. You’ll be working closely with our Design Director, creatives, account managers and our Pou Ahurea Māori (Cultural Director), to create compelling designs that align with our clients’ objectives and values.

Some understanding of Māori and/or Pacific cultures, language, values, and design aesthetics is a bonus but not necessary, however a willingness to be open to learn and grow is essential.

YOUR STRENGTHS

  • Strong graphic design skills including branding
  • Concepting visuals and ideas as briefed
  • Maintaining a high quality standard of work and standad that the agency sets
  • Presenting concepts via sketches, drawings or illustrations both internally to the team and externally to client when required
  • Understanding of trends within the design industry, hunger to learn and constantly upskill on new trends and innovations
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines and time restraints
  • Understanding of the bigger picture, ability to vary style and approach based on each project
  • Illustration and/or motion graphics skills would be a bonus but not essential

SALARY

Salary will be determined by skill and experience level. We currently have two graphic designer roles available.

We reward and celebrate in return for your mahi. RUN provide ongoing development opportunities and pathways for your career. We are truthful, upfront and open-minded.
