Kia ora! We’re looking for a Junior – Intermediate Account Manager. Are you a well organised, natural communicator, ready for a new challenge? We’d love you to join our small, close-knit team.

In this role you’d hold key client relationships, being responsible for managing design and advertising projects from brief to delivery.

The Account Manager role is integral to our client relationships, ensuring work is produced on time, on budget and both meeting and exceeding all expectations. You’ll need to work well under pressure, and not shy away from pitching in to get the mahi done. You’ll be supporting the team, using your initiative with a proactive approach. You’ll work on a wide range of creative solutions and clients.

You will have 2-5 years experience in an account manager role (or similar). You understand and champion the creative process, you are polished at managing key stakeholder relationships. You can see the bigger picture, you can prioritise. You are open-minded, honest and real. You love what you do and you thrive being part of a team.

You’ll be working closely with our Senior Account Director, designers, creatives, our Pou Ahurea Māori (Cultural Director), and the agency founders, to oversee projects that align with our clients’ objectives and values.

We are a diverse team that includes both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members. Some understanding of te ao and/or te reo Māori and/or Pacific cultures and values is a bonus but not essential, however an openness and willingness to learn, grow and embrace it is important.

We’re centrally located in a 5 greenstar rated building in central Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering to timings and budgets
• Proactive, strategic, logical and forward-thinking, drawing on your initiative and problem solving skills
• Confident, a natural relationship builder across all levels
• Expert communication skills (written and verbal) and keen listener
• A minimum of 1.5 years’ account management experience in a small or large advertising agency or design studio, or you will come to us with demonstrated industry related transferrable skillsets
• Outstanding client management and can-do attitude, with a proven ability to work across a range of projects – you’ll excel at wearing many hats
• Naturally, you’ll have a positive, friendly attitude
• A hunger to learn and upskill
• Acute attention to detail, with an ability to work well under pressure
• Understanding of the bigger picture, ability to vary your approach based on each project

Salary will be determined by skill and experience level.
