AUCKLAND DA Workshop: Writing as a Brand with Mark Easterbrook

A great brand has a distinctive voice that comes through in its creative work and content. It also influences the way people who represent the brand speak and write. But how do you get that voice right and keep it consistent?

$300+gst Professional | $200+gst Design Assembly Friend | $50+gst Student
(Not a DA Friend? Details on how to sign up can be found here)

What will you learn?

This workshop will walk through a straightforward model for defining a brand voice, as we co-create an imaginary example. We will step through the process of defining:

  • What you want to say and why
  • Who you are talking to
  • What connects your brand and audience
  • What you are and aren’t
  • What your voice elements are
  • What element to use when
  • Where your voice sits next to others
  • Who is a good shared reference point in the media
  • Who your brand would be as a person
  • Your voice house rules

Who is the workshop for?
Designers, writers, strategists and others working with brand voices.

What to bring with you:
Your interest, enthusiasm and your burning brand voice questions.
