Kia ora Aotearoa NZ design community

It’s already been a full-on 24 hours in which we’ve gone from normal life into level 4 lockdown, I myself on the rollercoaster of emotions from ‘Oh maybe this will be nice to do less for a bit’ to realising that with my two children at home, it’s not just level 4 that I will have to navigate but also level 3.
Most importantly right now and in the next few days, take some for yourself – how are you doing? Take a pause to rest and reflect, if that’s what you need. Check in with yourself and others – how is your team? your boss? your friends and your whanau?
Design Assembly is all about connection – so I invite you to join the DA Friends Slack to share what’s happening for you, seek advice from each other and find connection in common experiences through Level 4 and Level 3 lockdown and working from home.
If you are a DA Friend, email me at louise@designassembly.org.nz and I’ll send you the slack invite. If you’re not a DA Friend, you can subscribe here: https://designassembly.org.nz/friends/
Over the next week, we’ve also got two online events for you to be inspired and learn from – DA Online Event – Under The Hood August, Two Designers & Two Projects and ONLINE WEBINAR: Stronger, Better, Happier Studio Program Walk Through, more details below.
And here we’ve gathered some of the resources available to help you navigate this time:

Kia kaha, stay safe everyone.
